Project 1 - Composition (P)In this project we will shoot images using the rule of thirds and learn how to optimize images. We will also take note of iso and shoot in (P) program mode.

Project 2 - LineA focus on line in nature as well as man made lines. We will utilize line as the primary design element which create patterns, direction, and structure.

Project 3 - ShapesWe will focus our attention on shape. Shape doesn’t tell the viewer what an object is, but mainly what an object is like. Three things help identify shape: mass, relation, and proportion.

Project 4 - Motion (S)A focus on motion and techniques to produce stop action, blurring, panning, and zooming images.

Project 5 - Depth of Field (A)A look into depth of field and camera techniques to produce bokeh (blur) as a design element.

Project 6 - PersectiveWe will create images that use interesting perspectives. Perspective refers to the appearance of depth or spatial relationships between objects in an image.

Project 7 - Photo SafariA journey to the big city with the intention of shooting for and completing the breadth section of the AP portfolio.

Project 8 - Natural LightWe will focus our attention on natural light and its influence on mood.
|
Project 9 - Photographing PeopleFocusing on people, these shots should reveal something about a person's character, experiences, and feelings.

Project 10 - AP PortfolioThis project is concerned with shooting, and completing the Concentration section of the AP portfolio, as well as matting the Quality section and submitting this work to the College Board.
